MSI Gaming GS63 Review

In this review, we’ll be taking a look at the MSI Gaming GS63, an enthusiast-grade laptop that includes an i7-8750H processor, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q graphics card, and 16GB of RAM. While this configuration isn’t ideal, it’s still quite adequate, and it’s a testament to MSI’s product development and reservations about build quality.

GS63VR Stealth Pro has a GTX 10-series graphics card

If you are looking for a solid all-around gaming laptop, then the MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro may be the one for you. It features a 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB HDD and a SteelSeries RGB backlit keyboard. It costs just under S$3000 and has a GTX 10-series graphics card.

The GS63VR Stealth Pro has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, which increases performance by about 40%. It supports VR gaming thanks to its GTX 10-series graphics card, and the system also has a 16GB of RAM for more memory. It also features a 15.6-inch display with wide viewing angles and immersive colors.

The GS63VR Stealth Pro comes with a surprisingly large power brick that weighs a whopping 580 grams. This is definitely an issue when determining the portability of the machine. While it works without the power brick, its 65-watt-hour internal battery isn’t exactly impressive. Moreover, graphics performance is severely diminished on battery power.

Although the GS63VR Stealth Pro comes with a GTX 10-series graphics card, its fan noise is still not alarming. It’s just a consequence of the high-end hardware, and it’s not distracting, either. The flocked material inside the notebook also helps keep the Stealth Pro cool. However, the vents can get hot.

Compared to the GS60, the GS63VR Stealth Pro has an upgradeable graphics card. Instead of one fan, there are two. Both GPU and CPU fans run at lower speeds. In addition, the GS63VR Stealth Pro has more memory and SSD storage. However, the entry-level Stealth Pro comes with a GTX 1060. It’s a fine graphics card, but there are better options available.

MSI has also improved its gaming notebooks with a GTX 10-series graphics card. The GT72VR 6RE Dominator Pro has a 17.3-inch screen, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, and an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor. It also has a SteelSeries multi-color backlit keyboard. It is available for S$3,699 – similar to the rival GTX 1070.

GS63VR Stealth Pro has a beautiful outlook

The GS63VR Stealth Pro is an impressive gaming laptop with a stunning outlook and high-level hardware. Its features include an excellent battery life, extra three red sport lines, Killer gaming WiFi and LAN, and the patented Killer Shield technology. The device is equipped with a 120Hz/3K TN display, True Color 2.o color calibration, and powerful cooling. The keyboard offers excellent force feedback, and its SSE3 software has plenty of virtual keyboard sets.

The MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro has an attractive outlook and a respectable design. Like its MSI rivals, the GS63VR Stealth Pro features brushed magnesium alloy on a smooth black finish. The overall design is respectable, but bland, lacking ‘gamer’ elements. As a result, it appears just like any other MSI laptop.

GS63VR Stealth Pro has incredible sound execution

The MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro is equipped with three USB 3.0 ports, two Type-A USB 2.0 ports, and one Type-C USB 3.1 port. There’s also an RJ-45 Ethernet port and a Mini DisplayPort v1.2 connector. It also has a right-angle USB 2.0 port for easy connectivity. One minor complaint is that the right-angle plug feels out of place and never fits properly into the power jack.

The MSI GS63VR is a powerful laptop with impressive audio and video performance. Despite its modest size, it packs in a surprising amount of power. While we would like to see the MSI brand shuffle away from bloatware and fan noise, we’re not too disappointed with this 15-inch laptop. In addition to being a great gaming laptop, the MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro is a bargain.

The MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro’s design is quite respectable. It uses brushed magnesium alloy for the chassis and a smooth black finish for the exterior. The GS63VR is a decent-looking laptop, but its ‘gamer’-friendly’ features don’t seem to be obvious at first glance. While this laptop’s look is good enough for most casual users, gamers might want to consider purchasing an external speaker or headphones.

The MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro is the latest member of MSI’s gaming laptop series. It uses the latest Intel Core i7 processor and graphics card, along with modern technology like Thunderbolt 3 and PCIe storage. While its appearance may seem unorthodox, it is a powerful gaming machine. Its high-quality audio output will make your gaming experience even more enjoyable.

GS63VR Stealth Pro has minor hang-ups

The MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro is a 15-inch gaming laptop with current-generation graphics and an Intel Core i7 processor. This laptop features modern technologies such as Thunderbolt 3 and PCIe storage. Its slim design makes it a great option for travelers and power users. There are some minor drawbacks, however. Here are some of them:

The MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro has a respectable design, but it does have some minor hang-ups and sluggish performance when using multiple applications. To solve these issues, you can use auditing programs and the System Suite 7 Professional tool. The System Suite 7 Professional tool will optimize your PC’s startup time and fix any sluggish performance. Installing compatible RAM may also help.

Audio quality isn’t the best, but it’s far from bad. The Stealth Pro’s speakers lack depth and nuance, and the sound is flat and distorted. Higher volume settings can bring on significant distortion. The flocked material inside the laptop helps keep it cool, but it does get hot when the vents are open. If you want to enjoy high-quality audio, buy headphones.

Aside from the battery life, the MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro has some minor design flaws. A right-angle plug feels awkward to insert, and the power supply never quite fits into its power jack. Despite its minor shortcomings, this gaming laptop is an excellent value, and we recommend it. But you should be aware of some minor drawbacks if you’re considering buying one.

The GS63VR Stealth Pro’s screen is not particularly impressive. However, it does score well on most display metrics. The maximum brightness and contrast are good, but the panel’s color gamut is mediocre. It’s also off in color accuracy. Despite its minor drawbacks, the Stealth Pro’s screen is still a nice feature for gamers.
